London Shopfronts Book Cover
Having worked with Anna and Martin on the original Hoxton Mini Press branding over 10 years ago, they asked us to use our knowledge of signwriting to design a typographic cover for their newest title London Shopfronts.
After an in-depth research stage we suggested various heritage typefaces that we could redraw to reflect a modern take on classic sign-written shopfronts seen in the book.
The chosen design was then produced with a luxurious gold foil to further elevate the book cover and references the gold leaf used in traditional hand-painted shop signs.
